Mark T. Humitz

Mark joined Cornwell Architects in 2006 as a Senior Associate Architect.  In 2013 he was named a partner in the firm and on January 1, 2016 became the President of Cornwell Architects.  Mark received his Master of Architecture degree from the University of Michigan in 1987 and has been a licensed architect in the state of Michigan since 1990.  Mark has worked on a wide range of project types through-out his career, including multi-family residence, medical office, religious, hospital, K-12 schools, speculative office buildings, sport facilities, parking garages, and large regional retail malls. 

In addition to his responsibilities at Cornwell Architects, Mark serves on the Board of Directors of the Kiwanis Club of Traverse City, as well as Treasurer of the Northern Michigan chapter of AIA Michigan.  Mark is the past vice-chair of both the Long Lake Planning Commission and the Long Lake Board of Zoning Appeals.
