Cornwell Architects was asked by Bonek Insurance Agency to design a new corporate office building as the first phase of a new multi-building complex. The owner preferred a “Prairie” style exterior aesthetic that was also clad in low maintenance materials. The design solution incorporated standing seam metal roofing, brick exterior walls and aluminum-clad windows. The interior office space is arranged with a central open office area with opposing exterior walls allowing natural light into all work spaces. Enclosed offices are located at the corners of the building with direct views to the outside but also convenient access to the open office area.
Cornwell Architects was responsible for the architectural design of the project, recommendations for site design, contractor coordination and construction observation. The project was completed in 2017 with a final building size of 6900 S/F including basement storage.
