Cornwell Architects was involved in a multi-phase construction project at West Middle School for Traverse City Area Public Schools over the course of two years.  The first phase included moving  the main administration office from the center of the building to the primary student entrance which provided added security and an enhanced building entry.  New exterior metal fascia  and a new roof were added during this first phase as well.

During the second construction phase, Cornwell Architects designed a new art program classroom wing inside the existing building transforming existing classrooms that were underutilized.  Both  projects provided improved staff function, added necessary security and new program efficiencies.
